An M.O.T For My Mind, Body And...

I have just arrived from the Southbank Centre. I had a fantastic day and each event, was well worth my time and effort.

During the last twenty-four hours, I also purchased my first copy of 'crAve' The new gay lifestyle magazine for women. On flicking through it, I found the article titled 'From Crush to Crushed' Straight crushes: character-building or a painful waste of time? You decide, says Natalie Woodhead...What about fancying straight women, though? Into which category does this particular experience fit? rung alarm bells, for me. I am also keen to read the article titled '(About to be) Born in the USA' Alison Storey examines lesbian parenting across the pond...thousands of lesbians across America are having children.

I am pleased that my ticket to see the London Jazz Festival in association with BBC Radio 3 presents 'Courtney Pine www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/pine/ Empirical at the Barbican www.barbican.org.uk later this month, has arrived.

I have also volunteered to write a short regular blog, about my exercise routine, for 'Get Moving'. This is based on the Get Moving pledge www.getmovingweek.org.uk/pledge/ to start/increase my daily exercise, for at least one year.

This evening, just before I attend a bonfire party, at my local Quaker meeting house, I will be phoning my son. During the conversation I will let him know of my plan - when we meet next Saturday - to take him to the Imperial War Museums and also to a London Quaker Lesbian and Gay Fellowship www.qlgf.org.uk/ gathering.

Before I go to sleep, I am going to take a quick look at the following website: www.homosexualityandfaith.org
