For a downloadable form click http://www.lgcm.org.uk/ The e-newsletter will be back to normal next month.

Many Blessings

Sting

Seven Days

Sting

[Lyrics]

"Seven Days" was all she wrote

A kind of ultimatum note She gave to me, she gave to me

When I thought the field had cleared It seems another suit appeared

To challenge me, woe is me

Though I hate to make a choice My options are decreasing mostly rapidly

Well we'll see I don't think she'd bluff this time

I really have to make her mine It's plain to see It's him or me

Monday, I could wait till Tuesday If I make up my mind

Wednesday would be fine, Thursday's on my mind

Friday'd give me time, Saturday could wait But Sunday'd be too late

The fact that he's six feet ten Might instill fear in other men

But not in me, The Mighty Flea (flee?)

Ask if I am mouse or man The mirror squeaked, away I ran

He'll murder me in time for his tea Does it bother me at all

My rival is Neanderthal, it makes me think Perhaps I need a drink

IQ is no problem here We won't be playing Scrabble for her hand I fear

I need that beer

Monday, I could wait till Tuesday If I make up my mind

Wednesday would be fine, Thursday's on my mind

Friday'd give me time, Saturday could wait But Sunday'd be too late

Seven days will quickly go The fact remains, I love her so

Seven days, so many ways But I can't run away

Monday, I could wait till Tuesday If I make up my mind

Wednesday would be fine, Thursday's on my mind

Friday'd give me time, Saturday could wait

But Sunday'd be too late

Do I have to tell a story Of a thousand rainy days since we first met

It's a big enough umbrella But it's always me that ends up getting wet

England's Day

England's Day
Today
at the
Royal Albert Hall
William I of England 'The Conqueror'

Rule, Britannia!
1
When Britain first, at Heaven's command
Arose from out the azure main;
This was the charter of the land,
And guardian angels sang this strain:
"Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
"Britons never will be slaves."
2
The nations, not so blest as thee,
Must, in their turns, to tyrants fall;
While thou shalt flourish great and free,
The dread and envy of them all.
"Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
"Britons never will be slaves."
3
Still more majestic shalt thou rise,
More dreadful, from each foreign stroke;
As the loud blast that tears the skies,
Serves but to root thy native oak.
"Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
"Britons never will be slaves."
4
Thee haughty tyrants ne'er shall tame:
All their attempts to bend thee down,
Will but arouse thy generous flame;
But work their woe, and thy renown.
"Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
"Britons never will be slaves."
5
To thee belongs the rural reign;
Thy cities shall with commerce shine:
All thine shall be the subject main,
And every shore it circles thine.
"Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
"Britons never will be slaves."
6
The Muses, still with freedom found,
Shall to thy happy coast repair;
Blest Isle! With matchless beauty crown'd,
And manly hearts to guard the fair.
"Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
"Britons never will be slaves."

Lyrics as sung
Although the lyrics are usually set out as above, the lines as set to the music are sung as follows:
When Britain first, at heaven's command,
Aro-o-o-ose from out the a-a-a-zure main,
Arose, arose, arose from out the a-azure main,
This was the charter, the charter of the land,
And guardian A-a-angels sang this strain:
Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.
Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.
The nations, no-o-o-o-ot so blest as thee,
Must i-i-i-i-in their turn, to ty-y--yrants fall,
Must in, must in, must in their turn, to ty-y-rants fall,
While thou shalt flourish, shalt flourish great and free,
The dread and e-e-e-e-nvy of them all.
Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.
Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves

A Human Experience

I awoke half an hour ago, feeling a bit 'the worse for wear'. My Hayfever symptoms are so pronounced and out of control that I am experiencing wheezing. My head space is muffled - a bit like a bass drum with padding. My appetite feels suppressed. Thankfully I am still able to consume my 'Yogi Tea' www.yogitea.nl The 'Licorice - Egyptian spice. organic', infusion Yogi Tea which I selected had the reading 'We are spiritual beings having a human experience.'

My 'Daily Wisdom - From the Writings of Nichiren Daishonin' www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nichiren / www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nichiren_Buddhism
today states 'The five characters of Myoho-renge-kyo, the heart of the essential teaching of the Lotus Sutra, contain the benefit amassed through the countless practices and meritorious deeds of all Buddhas throughout the three existences. Then, how can these five characters not include the benefits obtained by observing all of the Buddhas' precepts?' (WND, 481) The Teaching, Practice, and Proof - written to Sammi-bo on March 21, 1275.

I am aware that although I have already been employed full-time, in my Westminster based Mental Health Floating Support Worker post, for just over two years. I have taken up to five days physical 'sick leave' in total. Today, with the saying 'Prevention is better than Cure' in mind, I have just added my first 'sick day' - for my Mental Health. Tomorrow morning I will report to my Care Coordinator at my CMHT - Community Mental Health Team.

Just for today, I will value the unfolding lessons of the 'Universal Law of Life' and have faith in the God of my understanding.

The Perfect Storm

I was late leaving work this evening and, as a result ended up being half an hour late calling my beloved son. I am broke, and have absolutely no idea what I am going to do with my son next week during our five and a half hours together. I would have loved to have taken him to revisit the Bank of England Museum www.bankofengland.co.uk/education/museum/ I first took him to visit it while he was living with me, but if my memory serves me correctly it doesn't open on Saturdays.

It was truly a joy to converse with my son - nothing new about that, or the fact that I was filled with gratitude. He is a 'Gift' and a 'Miracle'. I feel so blessed, to be able to lavishly and overtly, convey my love and affections for my son to him and for it to be requited - just as from my mother to me...

Yesterday my mother rang me again. I know that she is concerned about me at this time. as she yet again told me to come to her, reminding me that I will always have a home with her. I have been cautiously negotiating with my own personal 'stress abyss' quick sand. I know excessive resistance means certain spiritual death.

I just can't afford to be so self absorb and self pitying to take for granted the fact that I do have some contact with my child. Heartbreakingly, for what ever the reason, many equally sincerely loving parents and guardians are unable.

I am 'On Call' tonight and one of my client who knew I was 'On Call' has just rung me and asked me to watch 'The Perfect Storm' on Channel 7. 'God works in mysterious ways the wonders he performs!'

'Big Momma's House'

Earlier this evening, when I discovered that the comedy sequel starring Martin Lawrence in the film 'Big Momma's House 2' is being shown on Channel 4, this evening at 22.00hrs. I took a photograph of Canada House www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada / www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_House
in Trafalgar Square because I was visiting Toronto, when I watched the first 'Big Momma's House' , at the cinema with my mother, son and other Stewart clan family members. I have endless fond memories of beautiful Canada, and this is just one of them.

I do enjoy listening to 'Relax (Don't do it) www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPLrXFw76Qg
